NEW DriveNest v2 — OneDrive support is now in open testing

Your Google Drive,
fully understood

Most people have no idea what's eating their Google Drive storage. DriveNest scans, analyzes, and helps you act — so your Drive is fully understood.

What is DriveNest?

DriveNest is a cloud storage analyzer for Android. Its current version works with Google Drive, turning a flat list of files into a clear, interactive picture of your storage. Instead of a single “you’ve used 47 GB” number, it shows you which folders eat your quota, which duplicates waste space, which files you’ve shared and forgotten, and how your storage has grown over time — then helps you safely reclaim the wasted space.

It connects with read-only access to your storage metadata — names, sizes, folders, and sharing info, never the contents of your files — and runs all of its analysis on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, there are no ads, and nothing tracks you.

Under the hood, DriveNest was designed as a provider-agnostic cloud storage framework — Google Drive is simply the first provider it speaks to. OneDrive is the second — now live in open testing as part of DriveNest v2 — and Dropbox is coming next, bringing the same analysis, security audit, and safe cleanup tools to every cloud you use, from one app.

DriveNest v2 is in open testing

Version 2 brings OneDrive to DriveNest — the same analysis, security audit, and safe cleanup, now on a second cloud. It’s publicly available as an open test while we finish polishing.

What open testing means for you. Anyone can join straight from Google Play — no invite needed. You get early access to OneDrive support and everything new in v2, in exchange for living a little closer to the edge: features are still settling and you may meet the occasional rough spot. Your feedback during this phase directly shapes what ships in the stable release.

A new way to act on your files. v2 introduces in-app execution of cleanup, unshare, and revision scripts — a capability our users asked for repeatedly through feature requests. Where DriveNest used to only hand you a script to run elsewhere, it can now carry the action through for you, end to end.

Provider-specific by design. In-app execution is available for OneDrive only. Google Drive continues to use the established Google Apps Script model — DriveNest deploys the script to your own account and you run it yourself, exactly as before. Either way you review every action first, and nothing ever runs silently.
